PLAYFUL VIDEO PLAYGROUND

THE OVERALL PURPOSE & AIM

In the Playful video playground course module you will learn about different ways of using video in your teaching. You will learn how to produce your own video material and how to use existing video material for different pedagogical purposes. You will also be able to inspire your students to co-produce videos.  When you have finished the module you will have a video playground of your own.

You will also know how to:

  • use different online tools for producing, editing, uploading and sharing videos
  • infuse playful elements in your teaching by using videos
  • use flipped classroom as a learning method

Below you find a TED-talk by Salman Khan from Khan Academy (March 2011), who has been a pioneer reinventing education by using video. Get inspired by this forerunner and his TED-talk.
